The Art Design Chicago Talk Series by Lumpen Radio is set to explore and celebrate Chicago’s rich artistic heritage and its diverse creative communities. This series will examine the intersections of art, design, and activism and the city’s relationship with indigeneity, migration, and displacement.

A conversation with artists and Center for Native Futures Co-Founders Debra Yepa-Pappan and Monica Rickert-Bolter. They talk with Nick Wylie about their Native artist-run organization, its new space downtown, and the inaugural exhibition Native Futures. They also discuss their own artwork, their history of repatriation victories at the Field Museum, solidarity against genocide and epidemics in Gaza, and the impacts of growing mass media Native representation.
